Fact #132: Terrible Tornado

The deadliest tornado in U.S. history occurred on March 18, 1925. The "Tri-State Tornado," which claimed nearly 700 lives and injured another 2,000, chewed up more than 300 miles and left a trail of destruction throughout Missouri, Illinois and Indiana.
